Kate wears £38 TopShop polka dot dress for Warner Bros. Studio opening

This morning, Prince Harry accompanied The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to Leavesden, Hertfordshire, where the royal trio official opened the new Warner Bros. studios.  As many “Potterheads” will be aware, the studios are built around some of the original Harry Potter sets from the popular film series, which has now been fashioned into a tourist attraction, “The Making of Harry Potter Tour.”
Kate Middleton Polka Dot Dress
Kate wore a polka dot dress to Harry Potter & Warner Bros. studio tour today.

Kate’s outfit:

Kate wore a cream and black polka dot skater style dress from TopShop’s ‘Tall’ range, which cost just £38. TopShop quickly sold out of the dress, as did Nordstrom, who stocked the dress in both regular and petite sizes. Currently, there are a few US size “2″ dresses still available in arusty red colour.

For those who like the dress but missed out on their size, Topshop and Nordstrom stock many dresses in the same skater design, but with differing prints:
Kate paired the dress with a few accessories we’ve seen before: her Episode Angel shoes, black peplum Ralph Lauren jacket and her mysterious velvet black clutch bag with front bow, which we’re yet to identify.  Kate wore a pair of pearl earrings with her outfit today.

More about today’s event:

500 (probably very excited) children and parents also attended today’s events. They were selected from charities with one of the three royals as patron.  William, Kate and Harry will also host a meeting for The Charities Forum later today, which will take place in the original “Great Hall” set from the Potter movies.
During the studio tour, the trio were lucky enough to see many original props from a range of films, including both Batman and Harry Potter. Excited William was on top form today, armed with a range of hilarious quips, including:
William and Harry also got to climb inside the Batmobile. Emerging from the car, William said, “I’m a very happy man”, before looking at his wife and saying “sorry, sorry”!
The royals also got lessons in magic, below we can see Will and Kate boh learning how to use a wand:
