Hillary Scott Reveals Growing Baby Bump During CMT Performance

Oh, baby! The Lady Antebellum frontwoman, who is 8 months pregnant with her first child, showed off her glowing pregnancy curves during her CMT Awards Performance on June 5! Do YOU think she looks good?

Hillary Scott, 27, may be expecting her first child with hubby Chris Tyrrell, but she didn’t let that stop her from rocking out during her CMT Music Awards performance with band Lady Antebellum on June 5!

Hillary Scott’s Pregnancy Performance — Covers Baby Bump On Stage

The Lady Antebellum frontwoman kept her growing baby bump covered up on stage while singing “Wagon Wheel” with Darius Rucker. She opted for a baggy black top and black pants, which looked like a comfortable and flattering option. She added a pop of contrast with a fringe white necklace, which topped off the look perfectly!

Hillary is due this summer with a baby girl, but still totally rocked out her performance of the classic country song. Her vocals sounded great as usual, and she kept her energy high throughout the entire song!

She kept the same outfit on for her second performance with her band, for the hit song “Goodbye Town.”

Although she has kept busy throughout her pregnancy, Hillary is actually going to take a break this summer after she gives birth in July. She and her bandmates will be on hiatus from their for the summer while Hillary focuses on being a mommy. But soon after, it’s back on the road in August, and back on stage!

Nelly Joins Florida Georgia Line For Epic CMT Music Awards Performance

What an awesome show-closing performance! Wildly popular duo Florida Georgia Line played its record-breaking hit ‘Cruise’ at the CMT Music Awards, and they were joined by a special guest — Nelly!

Florida Georgia Line topped the charts last summer with “Cruise,” and the duo brought it back this summer with a remix — and a little help from rapper Nelly. In the group’s first performance on the CMT Music Awards stage June 5, FGL was joined by Nelly for one electrifying, high-energy performance to close the show!

Florida Georgia Line Knows How To Put On A Show

The duo — Tyler Hubbard, who’s from Georgia, and Brian Kelley, who’s from Florida (does the name click now?) — may have only been in the country music spotlight for about a year, but the way they performed on the CMT Music Awards made it seem like they’re veterans. They killed it!

Not everyone can sound pitch-perfect on live television, but FGL sure did. Their performance made us wish we were watching from a car so we could roll our windows down and cruise with them!

Nelly Joins Florida Georgia Line For A Crazy Performance

The remix of “Cruise” was released in April and it’s been blowing up charts and radios across America ever since. So what better way to blow up the CMT Music Awards stage than by having Nelly join FGL to perform the remix live?

Nelly, who is on a major comeback after a brief hiatus from the music scene, was clearly excited to be performing again as he worked his swag on the stage. Looking somewhat out of place with his not-so-country muscle tank, baggy jeans and gold chains, he told CMT on June 3 that he actually loves country music:

I love the stories. I love the passion. I love the feeling in it. Other than R&B, I think, for me, it’s the next [most] soulful music there is.

In turn, Tyler also told CMT that it was awesome to collaborate with Nelly.

We’ve been a big fan of Nelly for a long time, so it’s a huge honor to work with him. I think he made the song that much better, and we couldn’t have had a better dude to do it with.

Yes, I’m happily married, but this wedding. From the lovely bride … We both fell into love without any expectations. It was wonderful and beautiful – and fast! As they say, first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes baby in a baby carriage. Our first baby is almost here – due in July!

We visited a few other venues and nothing felt like “us”. Keswick Hall is undeniably beautiful – but it also comes with Adam Donovan-Groves, event coordinator extraordinaire. We connected with him, and the venue, immediately.

Both of our fathers passed away several years ago. The florist had tucked my father’s wedding band into my bouquet so that, as I walked down the aisle, he was there with me. Our favors were little tributes to our fathers. We included their favorite candies, as well as donations to charities in their memory on behalf of our guests.

The design was just us, really. There were parts of him, like the rustic farm tables during the reception, and parts of me, such as the mercury glass for the centerpieces. Country boy, city girl.
